Consultant psychiatrist and member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych), with a master's in neurology and psychiatry and a diploma in psychiatry from Ain Shams University.
A UK-trained psychiatrist, he specializes in the assessment and treatment of people with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum conditions, ADHD and complex mental health needs. He currently works in the NHS in Wales, providing holistic, person-centred care in both community and inpatient settings.
He is active in research and service development, leading and contributing to projects on digital mental health models and on transitions from child to adult services for people with neurodevelopmental conditions. He regularly teaches medical students, psychiatry trainees and multidisciplinary teams, and advocates a compassionate, integrated approach that gives people with intellectual and developmental disabilities fair and effective care.
