The service
Sycura is an online platform for booking video and voice sessions with licensed therapists and psychiatrists. Therapists are professionally responsible for the care they provide, and we check their qualifications and licenses before they join.
Educational content on the site, such as articles and condition pages, is for general information and does not replace diagnosis or treatment.
Not an emergency service
Sycura is not for emergencies or situations where life is at risk. In those cases call your local emergency number or go to the nearest hospital immediately.
Eligibility and accounts
- You must be 18 or older to create an account. Sessions for anyone under 18 require a parent or guardian’s consent.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login details confidential.
Booking and payment
- Sessions last 50 minutes; the price depends on the therapist and is shown clearly before you pay.
- Prices are in Egyptian pounds for bookings from Egypt and in US dollars for bookings from elsewhere. Payment is made online through our payment provider, Paymob. We do not store card details.
- A booking is confirmed once payment succeeds.
- Cancellations and refunds follow our published cancellation and refund policy.
Acceptable use
- Recording sessions by audio or video without both parties’ written consent is not allowed.
- Abuse of therapists or use of the service for anything unlawful is not allowed.
- We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Intellectual property
All content on the website and app, including text, design and trademarks, belongs to Sy Cura Group and may not be copied or used without permission.
Limitation of liability
We work to keep the service available and secure, but cannot guarantee it will always be free of interruptions. Sycura is not responsible for decisions you make based on the general educational content on the site.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time and will announce significant changes on the site or in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
