Senior consultant in surgical oncology and related reconstructive surgery, and former head of the oncology department at Nasser Institute. He holds a PhD in surgical oncology from the National Cancer Institute, Cairo University, an MSc in surgical oncology, the EBSO fellowship in surgical oncology, the European Board in endocrine surgery, and a diploma in breast cancer and oncoplastic surgery from Northwestern University, USA. He is a member of the Egyptian Society of Surgical Oncology.
His work covers breast-conserving cancer surgery and breast reconstruction after mastectomy, thyroid, salivary gland and lymph node surgery, head and neck tumors, stomach, colorectal and other digestive cancers, laparoscopic gynecologic and urologic cancer surgery, and port-a-cath placement.
