Consultant psychiatrist specializing in child and adolescent psychiatry. She graduated in medicine from Ain Shams University in 2001 and holds a diploma in psychiatric practice and a master's in psychiatry and neurology from Ain Shams, the Egyptian Fellowship in Psychiatry, and the Egyptian Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
She joined El Khanka Mental Health Hospital in 2003, training and working across its psychiatric departments. She went on to work in and then direct its child and adolescent clinic, served as the hospital's clinical director, head of training, and director of its Arab Board program, and trained doctors for the Egyptian Fellowship and the Arab Board. She has also worked as a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist in Saudi Arabia.
She trained in psychiatry and adolescent services at Cairo University through the Egyptian Fellowship program, and holds a diploma in four-step model group therapy.
